Buggy Brigade
Walking/jogging class for new mums at Barshaw Park in Paisley. Runs every Wednesdays

Buggy Fit
Keep-fit class for new mums in the Southside of Glasgow. The class takes place outdoors with your buggy, and involves both cardiovascular and resistance elements to burn fat and tone up after your pregnancy. Mams 'n' Prams
Run by health visitors in Paisley, these sessions consist of brisk walking outdoors to gently tone new mums back into shape. It's a good opportunity to meet other Mums, and chat informally with health visitors. See the Jogging Buddies' website for more info.

Mums in the Park
Postnatal fitness classes in parks on the South Side (Bellahouston, Queen's Park) and in the West End (Botanics, Kelvingrove), run by personal trainer Tony Curtis. Power Pushers

The Glasgow branch of the Nurturer organization hosts weekly walks through Kelvingrove Park for mums who are pushing prams.  The aim is to combine a good workout with good companionship.  Check out this and other events sponsored by Nurturer at this website:

Pushy Parents
10-week fitness course for new parents and their babies run by the Women's Jogging Network (Glasgow Culture & Sport). The instructor, Irene McDonald, has over 10 years' experience in coaching, and is a UK Athletics level 2 Group Event Coach specialising in endurance running. Sessions focus on brisk walking/jogging with your buggy, and exercises such as squats, gentle pushups & exercises with bands. Classes are run at Bellahouston and Kelvingrove Parks. SJ Fitness
At Sarah-Jane Fitness, there are two options for post-natal exercise. You can either take the post-natal Pilates course - perfect for toning up your core muscles after having a baby - or you can have the use of the gym on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays between 2 and 4pm for a pay-as-you-go fee. Both options need to be booked in advance, and you can take your baby along to both of these sessions. Read more at:
