Why we built this
When we found out we were expecting, we had no idea where to start. What antenatal classes were worth doing? Where were the good baby swimming lessons? Which charity shops had decent baby kit? We spent hours trawling Facebook groups, asking friends and googling around — and still felt like we were missing things.
Glasgow is full of brilliant resources for parents and parents-to-be, but they're scattered everywhere and often hard to find. We couldn't find one place that pulled it all together, so we built it ourselves.
Glasgow Baby Guide is exactly what we wished had existed when we were starting out — a straightforward, local directory built by parents who know the city.
